A Path of Darkness

You know, there's all this drama around... people are going through turmoil and strife, and I sit back, watching and playing. I've got a thing for letting people bleed while I sit and spectate, waiting for my time to strike. I've got this book, it's something that makes me think and helps me understand things more clearly... but in the workings of other people, I have nil. I suppose I'll just sit back and smoke another cig, waiting for my time to strike.

I've spent a lot of time lately with a lot of different people. Earlier today I led an expedition to the Assassin's Tower, which resides in the bowels of a harsh desert. Everything went smoothly. I've also been hanging out with a few people over the past few days, namely Orchid and Anadreva. They're both very odd, but in their own respects. Orchid has very deep eyes and doesn't like it when I peer at her. Dreva is.. just odd.

Otherwise, nothing extremely eventful has happened lately. My drop C worked alright, I'm sure that I can find something to do with it. We'll find out.

How bloody annoying. Writing a song is always an adventure, and always a pain in the ass, but I've never really had THIS much trouble doing so. I suppose I could alter my tuning, but I hate going lower than I am now, too much buzzing from the strings. Course, there are ways around that, but I don't want to fuck up my hardware. Who knows what I'll end up doing...

Hmm, maybe I will try Drop C, just to see how it sounds.
